Cozy Fan
You can now find my books on CozyFan.com's searchable database of cozy mystery books! I am so happy that they have given cozy authors such as myself the opportunity to include their work, and help us also discover new cozy authors!!
Guys, I know that I have been slacking on getting that 4th book out. I have had several of you asking when it will be complete, and to be honest I am not sure at this point. I am working on it, but I have been a little sidetracked with work and life. But I promise I will make more of an effort to get it completed. Just hang in there with me!
Until next time,
Happy reading,
Amy

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just can't thank you all enough for your support. My book is live on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, along with Kobo and a few others I have never heard of.. lol. This book is so special to me because it represents a dream that I had that is now coming true. I have always had a love for reading and even for writing, but I never thought that I would be able to have a book published. I mean what publishing house would care about little ole me? Enter the Inidie community and it all became so clear.
Once I saw that people like me could publish books without being picked up by a large publishing house I was so happy. I thought it would cost a fortune and I would be stuck ordering paperbacks in such a large quantity that I would be selling them out of the trunk of my car at the flea market. However, once I got to know a few authors and learned that this was not the case, well color me surprised! I have to again give credit and love where it is most deserved. Silla Webb has been such a blessing to me. I have a personal connection to her as we are related, but it wasn't until she released Covered in Coal a few years ago that she and I really connected.
She has been a mentor and guide to me through all of this process and I owe her a huge debt of gratitude. Without her holding my hand a walking me through this whole process I would still be sitting there looking at my word document and wondering where to go next. She gave me tips and pointers but also edited and formatted for me as well. I love all her books and if you have not read them you are really missing out. Beware, they are on the racy side but the underlying story is a great one.
I suppose I have said all of this to say, if you have the opportunity to do something nice for another person then do it. You never know how much it will mean to them. And also I again would like to say thank you to everyone who has already purchased my book. You have no idea how much it means to me. I love the reviews that I am seeing and ask if you read my book please leave a short review. I don't ask for a long paragraph, just something so that when others are considering it they will know how you felt about it.
So until next time, happy reading!

I have finished!!!!!
Oh my gosh you guys..I have finally finished my book! So now it will go off to the editor for the first round of edits. I cannot express how happy I am that I wrote this story. It truly has been a dream of mine for many years, but not one I really got serious about until this past year.
I will keep you posted on my progress because this is all new to me. I hope that by sharing my journey that I might inspire someone else to follow their dreams! I am so thankful for all those people who have shown me support and have encouraged me to keep pushing forward. Thank you to my best friend for helping me with character development and inspiration. They say to write what you know so I hope that when you all read it that you will love these characters as much as I do!
So that is all for now and I will update you again soon. Until then..happy reading!

Just a quick update...
Hi Everyone I hope this post finds you well.
I just wanted to drop in and give you all a quick update to my recent announcement. I have been diligently working on my book and I am happy to say that I am almost finished! Of course I know that the fun is just beginning. Once it is completed then it must go to an editor, be sent out to a few people to beta read it and make sure I have not completely gone off the rails, then back to an editor if changes need made..all before I can move forward with any of the other fun stuff like how to get it formatted and ready to be published.
I just want to thank everyone for their support and especially those who are already itching to read what I have written. You guys mean more to me than you will ever know and I thank you so much.
So until next time (and hopefully sooner than later) Happy Reading!

So...I've been keeping a secret...
As promised I am doing my best to post more to my blog this year. I eluded in my earlier blogs regarding a secret I have for ya'll, and since I have reached a milestone of sorts I have decided to let you all in on it. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love to read. Also anyone who really knows me knows I also love to write. I have written poetry since I was young and have even been published.
So...are you seeing where this is headed yet? I am officially announcing that I have reached 10k on my very first story! I am so excited to share this with you guys because I am going to need your support. This has always been a dream of mine that I never thought I would have the opportunity to fulfill, but the last few years have shown me how kind the Indie Author community can be. I have seen so many authors support one another that it gave me the courage to put pen to paper and get started.
Now I will not lie to you this is scary stuff. Putting your stories and characters out there for everyone to read and judge takes courage that I never thought I had. But I am ready to take that leap and see where this takes me. My story falls into the cozy mystery category and for a first timer like me I think its a good fit.
So, for now I will leave you with my announcement and I appreciate your support in the coming months as I wade through all the details. I am happy to answer any questions so hit me up in the comments.
Until next time...happy reading.

Happy New Year!!!
Hi Everyone.. I hope this blog post finds you happy and healthy in the new year. As promised I am doing my best to post more during this year and hopefully find some new readers, books, and authors! To start my year I finished a book my sister sent me for Christmas. The title is "Love Lies Beneath" and it was a very different book. It had steamy scenes and intruige, but also boasts an ending you will not see coming.
I thought I knew what was going to happen based on the thousands (yes that is correct) of other books I have read. I mean let's be honest, its tough to find a book with a plot we haven't at least read a hint of before. This is why I love reading new authors and Ellen Hopkins does not disappoint. She had me turning pages and trying to figure out exactly how all that story was going to fit into the rapidly dwindling pages.
The book blurb reads like this:
Once a widow, twice divorced, Tara is a woman with a past she prefers to keep hidden. She’s gorgeous, affluent, and content living alone in her flawless San Francisco mansion.
That is, until she meets Cavin Lattimore—the charming surgeon who sweeps her off her feet following a ski accident in Lake Tahoe. But as her recovery progresses and her love life flourishes, Tara notices some suspicious incidents—an unusual van parked outside her home, a break-in, threatening text messages, and distressing emails. She can’t help but notice the cracks in Cavin’s “perfect” persona, including the suppressed rage his conniving teenage son elicits.
Housebound and on crutches, Tara depends on Cavin—perhaps to a dangerous degree—as she juggles difficult relationships with her envious sister and best friend, her irritable brother-in-law, and her estranged mother. However perfect Tara’s life may have appeared before, new events are starting to expose what lies beneath.
Writing for the first time in prose, Ellen Hopkins unveils a brand new form that’s fresh, smoldering and emblematic of her celebrated poetic voice. Injected with a signature dose of suspense, sex, and drama, Love Lies Beneath delivers right up to its shocking and unexpected conclusion.
I must say that this was a good read and one I would recommend. If you are shy about the sexual details then you may want to stay clear but other than that the plot will keep you guessing. When they say unexpected conclusion they mean it! I was down to a handful of pages before I realized what was happening.
So, I have not forgot that I promised you some interesting news for 2017, but I am keeping the lid on it a bit longer. Until next time... Happy Reading!
